This is my 2nd Santa Fe folk art museum wedding of 2018! Having never photographed a single wedding there, I had two couples book me to photograph their weddings at this venue in Santa Fe, New Mexico within a week of each other! I asked Ana if she knew the other couple that was getting married there. She had no idea who I was talking about.
Ana and Ivan decided to have their destination wedding in New Mexico and where better than the Museum of International Folk Art. Ivan is a graphic designer so he was naturally drawn to the place. Ana is from Santa Fe so it was a no brainer. I’m just going to say this upfront, Ana and Ivan are a stunning couple! You can tell by the way that they look at each other, there’s a whole lot of love there! And their families were just amazing! Ana’s friends and family gathered around her to celebrate and they were all so excited for her. Ivan‘s family is from Brazil, his family was so beautiful and expressive, photographer candy!
These two beautiful families gathered together to see their bride and groom marry each other. Their wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful but paled in comparison to the people in this wedding. And let’s talk about this wedding venue for a minute. Santa Fe has much to offer in the way of wedding venues and they are all beautiful but very few of them incorporate the art which is central to Santa Fe’s character.
I was able to steal Ana and Ivan away from their wedding reception in the Neutrogena wing for some unique couples portraits that I’m not sure anyone has done before! It was super cool to have an entire museum exhibit to ourselves! If you want wedding photographs that you can see and feel, I would love to meet up or video chat with you!
