I met Kelsey and Garrett earlier this year in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They were attending the destination wedding that I was photographing and we hit it off. We decided to meet up in Chicago for a couple’s portrait session. We hit the river walk and the Chicago theater then walked around Lincoln park and found this cool little record store to shoot in called Gramaphone records. The weather was PERFECT and Kelsey and Garrett were fantastic! They’re just about the friendliest Chicagoans I’ve ever met. I’d love to do more of this kind of thing! My in-laws live in West Michigan and after a visit we always head over to Chicago for Giordano’s pizza and some fun. If you’re in the area email me and I’ll let you know the next time I’m coming out.

I’ve been running behind as usual with the blog but when the Cubs took the world series I thought it only fitting that I share my little piece of Chicago. Thanks Kelsey and Garrett for sharing your city with me. P.S. I took the wrong train back to Schaumburg and ended up in a place I don’t know the name of. Thanks to Uber for getting me back to my hotel! 🙂
